Today is our last Christmas market meetup of the season — we’re meeting at Holzmarkt 25 at 7pm. It’s my favorite Christmas market, and I saved it for the end of our little December series.

🎄 How our Community celebrates Christmas

Over the past weeks, I asked a small question at our meetups: How do you celebrate Christmas?

The answers were thoughtful, diverse, and quietly revealing — with family, with friends, for the first time, or not at all. I’ve turned these notes into a short blog post. Not as a study, but as a way of listening to our community.

Our Christmas Party is exactly that moment: a pause, a reunion, a shared evening — no pressure, no fixed script, just people.

What to expect:

• 🎁 Bring a small gift (nothing fancy!) — Santa will pass it on to someone else
• 🎅 Secret Santa vibes, without the logistics
• 👗✨ Best Christmas Outfit Contest — yes, we will crown a winner
• 🥂 A relaxed evening before the holidays really begin

💛 NO ONE ALONE

Christmas doesn’t look the same for everyone.

For those who don’t celebrate Christmas in the traditional way — or who don’t want to spend several quiet holiday days alone (five days in a row can feel long) — I’m offering something simple and personal.

🤝 Community matching:

If you’d like company, just write me a private message and tell me:

• what you’d enjoy doing (walks, food, staying in, …)
• which days work for you

I’ll then privately match you with one or two other community members who are in a similar situation.

No public sign-ups. No pressure. Just a small way of making sure that no one has to be alone if they don’t want to be. 💛
